Would love to see two-way integration with Google Tasks, where tasks added/edited/marked completed in either app sync to the other. Would also love to import existing recurring items from Google Tasks, versus recreating them in Hugo.

G Suite is very popular. Bundling the drive storage, and apps with Slides, Sheet, and docs makes it very useful. Every company that uses G Suite would also be using Calendar and Meet - which are well integrated with Hugo. Eagerly waiting for Tasks integration.

Hugo is already a great addition to G-Suite, would be even greater if the tasklist in Hugo could be synced to Google Tasks

Google tasks is becoming more and more useful now that Workspace is being implemented.
